Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Head of Security & Business Continuity to lead the implementation of security, business continuity, and crisis management initiatives across the region. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all SBC matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies while aligning efforts with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will build strong cross-functional relationships, drive regional resilience, and enhance organizational preparedness through effective leadership, continuous improvement, and capability development.

Responsibilities:

General:
  • Act as the main contact for SBC inquiries, ensuring customer requirements and external regulations are met. Build strong relationships to align SBC measures with business needs. Regularly update leadership on Business Resilience metrics. Conduct training, mentoring, and upskilling to enhance capabilities in Security, Business Continuity Management, and Crisis Management. Perform audits to ensure compliance with frameworks, policies, and regulations.


Crisis Management:
  • Implement and maintain the Crisis Management framework for effective response to disruptions. Manage Level 2 crisis incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution across all but APMT, incl. ocean.


Business Continuity Management:
  • Manage all aspects of the Business Continuity lifecycle, including Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, and regular testing and updates. Maintain an overview of business continuity options within the region, providing support and advice during disruptions to reduce impact and downtime.


Security:
  • Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security measures in alignment with corporate policies, PbM, and OTA. Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. Establish and maintain security response and contingency plans across all regional offices and sites. Conduct foresight assessments to predict and evaluate potential business threats and risks. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of Duty of Care protocols, including travel and relocation safety measures. Support regional efforts in illicit cargo and contraband work in alignment with the Special Operations team.


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience in Security Management from a global, regional, or Area role
  • 5+ years in Business Continuity Management & Crisis Management
  • Preferably a Master's (or Bachelor's) degree in Security or Risk Management.
  • Certified in business continuity management (CBCI, etc.) and Security Management (CPP, CSMP, etc.)
  • Strategic business partner with interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with internal and external business partners
  • Ability to provide inspirational leadership to create top and bottom-line growth

Pay Range:
  • $145,000-$155,000*


*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
