About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting a growing team with all aspects of Operations and Financial Management?

This role primarily oversees multiple offices across Alberta and is responsible for operations, client relationships, and business growth. The position provides flexibility in location and can be based out of Calgary, Edmonton, or Red Deer, while supporting all offices in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Team Development
  • Ensure local offices follow BELFOR practices and protocols, supporting General Managers in employee training and career growth.
  • Oversee departmental effectiveness through coordination and communication across locations.
  • Conduct weekly operational meetings with managers to review leads, sales, scorecards, and customer feedback.
  • Manage equipment assignments, including cell phones, computers, and vehicles, tracking fuel consumption per office.

Financial & Business Management
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing monthly reports to General & Operational Managers.
  • Oversee budget planning, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and profitability strategies.
  • Regularly assess jobsite conditions and report concerns to leadership.

Human Resources & Safety
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, and training initiatives.
  • Supervise team members and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Participate in performance management and documentation to ensure accountability.

Business Development & Market Growth
  • Identify new business opportunities, including local community-based initiatives.
  • Attend industry conferences and strategize new revenue opportunities.
  • Regularly meet with General Managers to discuss marketing and workflow improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, insurance, or restoration industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior-level management or accounting role
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, JD Edwards, Xactimate/XactAnalysis
  • Self-motivated to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when required
  • Ability to travel periodically
  • Criminal Record Check required
