POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is responsible for approximately 10 to 15 selected communities within a designated region ofthe Assisted Living Division. Reportsdirectly to a Vice President of Operations Assisted Living Division. This position is responsible for ensuringoperational excellence and modeling Americare culture that demonstrates ourRISING Team Values and Hometown Hospitality to meet resident, employee, andfiscal goals/needs. Success will be measured by a combination of metricsfocusing on resident care/experience, employee experience, being a good neighbor in the community andfinancial results. The RDO has directsupervisory responsibility for the Administrators (ADMs) at each of the seniorliving communities within the assigned region. This position also partnersclosely with a Regional Sales/ Community Outreach Representative, a RegionalNurse Consultant and an Operations Business Consultant.

This exempt position offices from the employee's residence and requires daily travel to communities in region with overnight stays scheduled for communities atdistance. Additional travel via air to organization meetings as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Thisposition must have the ability to handle computer tasks of some complexity in avariety or an independent and responsible manner. The must also have theability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail while following protocol. This role needs to have a full understanding and abilityto utilize a computer and learn required software as designated by companyprotocol. Employee must also have an understanding and ability to follow allregulations and policies by the State and Board of Directors. Employee musthave communication skills to be able to interact with Home Health and Americarestaff.
The physical demands of this position include;
Standing, sitting, walking, changing of position, reaching, extending hands & arms, reach across midline, crouching, balancing, kneeling,stooping, bending, lifting or carrying 35lbs & push and pull 100 lbs.
Sensory Demands:
o Ability to work with residents, visitors and staff of each community.
o Telephone or virtual consultations.
o Ability to tolerate different noise levels.
o For reading of fine print and numbers.
o Documentation of needed records.
o Visual assessment of buildings and grounds.
o Must be able to communicate effectively with the public, residents, residents' families,
administrators and employees at all levels.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
It is mandatory to follow safety policiesand procedures including use carts when moving items as well as all personal protective equipment. Rather than lift heavy objects, break down items to smallerquantity.
Use of seat belt when operating or traveling as a passenger in a car. Only use ofhandsfree cell phone or other electronic technology when operating a motor vehicle.
Mandatory reporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor with participation in requireddocumentation.
Participation in our drug & alcohol testing procedures is a mandatory part of employment with this facility.
OSHA Exposure:
Category III, not at risk for exposure to blood borne pathogens.

- Base Salary: Starting at $105,000+ (commensurate with experience)
- Performance Bonus: Up to $60,000 annually

What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership in multi-site senior living operations
- 4+ years of administrative or supervisory experience (Senior ADM or multi-site management preferred)
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in Missouri or eligibility to obtain
- Strong financial acumen, people leadership, and sales management experience
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates a culture of accountability withinregion that defines the actions needed to produce results. Clearly sets targets and provides direction on achieving community and regional goals andempowers individuals to be part of the solution to obstacles that stand in theway of meeting goals
- Oversees community management to ensureaccountability for the control, utilization, and conservation of the physicaland financial assets of each community
- Monitors community compliance with operatingrules, laws and regulations and the principles and policies each institutionpractices to see that they are ethical and sound
- Ensures that each administrator creates apositive work environment for employees, living our RISING Team Values, anddriving consistent execution of the Hometown Hospitality customer servicemodel
- Provides secondary oversight (behind communityadministrator), and works collaboratively with regional nurse to ensureclinical compliance and practice in communities along with Americare standardsand programs
- Partners with the Sales team to execute salesand marketing efforts that achieve maximum occupancy and value per unit;collaboratively changes course when activities are not producing the desiredoccupancy results
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection,coaching and direction for ADM role and for other roles within communities asneeded
- Ensures recruitment, retention and engagementstrategies are in place in each community utilizing Americare tools and supportresources
- Provides mentoring, coaching and development of ADM leadership
- Provides training to a wide range of individualsto reinforce Americare culture, team building and programs
- Monitors each community to see that all ASL directives are followed
- Completes community audit process with follow up action planning and holds administrators accountable for progresson plan
- Assumes on-call status and is prepared to assistadministrators with emergency decisions and situations
- Serves as interim administrator or appoints an interim administrator in times of position vacancy
- Monitors each community's financialperformance through the use of budget performance reports, payroll performancereports and the Americare Dashboard
- Supports the accomplishment of Americare'sOrganizational and Divisional Strategic plans and related goals by involvementin work groups, pilot projects and creative approaches to Assisted Living andSenior Care environment
- Leads successful implementation of new starts or transitional properties
- Ensures each community has established goals and action steps that correspond to divisional and organizational goals, and monitorsprogress throughout the year with correction as needed
- Sets goals and action steps with regionalcollaborative team- regional nurse, regional sales, and divisional businessconsultant, to meet community and division goals
- Provides monthly report to VP, President and collaborative team to include community status and performance
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A combination of education and experienceequivalent to at least an undergraduate degree. At least four (4) years of successful experience in administrative or supervisory position. Experience in multi-site management or as Senior ADM role a plus
- Licensed in the state of Missouri as a nursing home administrator (NHA)
- Knowledge of MO/KS/TN/MS/IL regulations for Assisted Living as determined by region
- Knowledge of sound administrative procedures and the ability to recruit, train,retain, and direct the work of others
- Knowledge of sound financial management practices
- Knowledge of and ability to implement sound and effective sales management
- Ability to conduct and lead meetings
- Ability to provide guidance and leadership to administrators
- Ability to develop leadership and people skills in others through training and acting as a role modelin the division
- Experience in and ability to establish trainingplans and to execute training for a wide range of individuals with various experience levels- ADM, DON and/orfront line
- Must have current driver's license and a good driving record
