Job Description
As a Regional Operations Leader you will directly manage a team of non-exempt WM Affluent Associates; this includes all performance management activities, hiring, onboarding, coaching, discipline, and professional development where appropriate. You will manage and monitor the daily activities and workflow of the Affluent Associates and work to allocate capacity or volume related items within their team.
Additionally, you will support the market in partnership with the Market Leaders by managing and reviewing routine reports, manage compensation exception processes, understand, and incorporate process and procedure improvements. You may assist in Market event coordination and scheduling.
You will ensure all production related transactions are completed in a timely manner and with accuracy to support the revenue/sales, cost and quality control goals established within the business line and market. Help introduce and implement new work tools, technology, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance regarding FINRA and SEC regulatory standards.
Overall, you will utilize a high degree of independence in making decisions. Having strong working knowledge of the investments industry as well as policies and procedures will be important in this role. Incumbents are required to have active FINRA Series 7, 63, and life, variable life, health and disability insurance licenses and Series 24 preferred and required upon hire.
Basic Qualifications
- Series 7, 63 or 65/66 and Insurance licenses
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent job experience
- Three or more years of management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 5 years of investment industry and management experience
-Series 24 (required upon hire)
-Excellent Customer Service skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
-Proficient computer skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
