Job Purpose:
The Regional Project Sales position is part of a team Specializing in Liquid Processing serving the Beverage, Brewery, Liquid Food, Sauces and Dressings and HPC markets.
The position is remote, and the focus will be on expanding and generating new sales in your region for the markets we serve while maintaining and building strong relationships with our existing clients.
You will need good technical hygienic process knowledge to promote Krones Process Group North Americas engineered process units, components, services and turnkey process project delivery capabilities.
You will have proven experience in sales and be able to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in your region.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience, training, and education.
Experience/Training: 5+ years of experience in the Hygienic Process Industry, specifically process integrator or manufacturer of process equipment and systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect new leads, opportunities, and accounts based on focus markets and consumer product trends.
- Identify products and process technology trends / challenges within the industry to advise engineering departments in areas to invest for expansion of knowledge and development of process solutions.
- Stay on top of all new technology within Krones PT organization, the industry, and customers market needs.
- Qualify and manage requests for proposals, work with a team to review and understand technical and commercial requirements and support the technical proposal development.
- Submit proposals, provide appropriate follow up with all active opportunities and proposals until decision / final negotiation. Maintain opportunities in Sales Force CRM, diagnose and report lost opportunities.
- Lead customer commercial negotiations, organize technical presentation / meetings to promote customer engagement and to ensure the understanding of the scope and technical features of our offered process solutions.
- Facilitate resolution of customer issues, promote compromise while maintaining relationships.
- Travel to different facilities and/or customer sites as needed.

- Understands Process and can read P&ID and PFD drawings.

Physical / Working Demands
- The work environment is a professional office environment where a conservative business dress code is in effect. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position will require visits to active jobsites and installation shops as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to type, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Equipment used includes a computer, calculator, and measuring devices.
- Ability to understand both spoken and written directions and good vision required.
- Personal protective equipment required includes protective-toed safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields and hard hat (when on an active jobsite).
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety and environmental policies/procedures. Each employee is to place environmental health and safety requirements as the priority in the performance of their work duties. Employees are responsible for notifying their immediate supervisor of a violation or deficiency in working conditions and recommending corrective measures, if possible.
