Position Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and managing a team of 6 sales reps across key Eastern U.S. territories, including NYC, NJ, Baltimore-DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. You will lead efforts to drive revenue growth, selling both PulmOne devices and software solutions to hospitals, pulmonary and allergy clinics, and general practices. This is a highly visible role where you will be in the field frequently, working hands-on with your team to achieve sales targets.

  • MiniBox+ - The MiniBox+ is a portable, cabinless, pulmonary function test (PFT) machine for rapid, easy testing of Spirometry, Lung Volumes, and Single-Breath DLCO. With fully automatic measurements and short testing time, it's ideal for both the clinician and the patient.


Requirements
  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in medical device sales, ideally in capital and/or pulmonology, software, or respiratory diagnostics.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing a high-performing sales team with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Player/Coach: Must be comfortable balancing hands-on sales work with management responsibilities.
  • Travel: Ability to travel extensively (3-4 days per week) within the Eastern U.S. territory.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Salesforce and strong analytical skills.
  • Location: Based in the East, preferably near a major airport hub.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6+ sales representatives to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), pulmonary and allergy private clinics, general practitioners, and primary care physicians to drive product adoption.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies that position PulmOne's MiniBox as the leading solution in the respiratory diagnostic market.
  • Field Sales: Spend 3-4 days per week traveling within the territory, assisting the sales team, leading multi-device deals, and maintaining a strong presence in key accounts.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Manage recruitment efforts, ensuring the sales team grows to 10-15 reps in alignment with company goals.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure sales alignment with business objectives.
  • Market Expansion: Contribute to PulmOne's growth goals, including capturing additional market share and preparing for the company's planned IPO within the next 2 years.

Compensation Information

  • Base: $140k-150k
  • Total First Year Anticipated Income: ~$250k, uncapped.
  • Generous Equity in PulmOne

  • Acceptable Candidate Location: Ideally East Coast, Dallas, or Chicago
