JOB SUMMARY:
As a Regional Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the business development and sales of
Lumibird Medical ophthalmic products in a defined territory. Position encompasses responsibility for all
aspect of the sales process within a defined territory including but not limited to cold-calling, lead
generation, qualifying potential customers, demonstrating products, in-service and coordination of
installations, post-sale customer support utilizing the company's technical service resources.
TERRITORY (Subject to Change with Notice): Pennsylvania, New York (excluding The Boroughs of NY,
Lon g Island and Westchester County) and New England (excluding Connecticut).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with the position as it is an independent
sales role with no oversight of a team.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership of complete sales process from prospecting through after-sale support
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals that are in line with the strategic goals of the
company.
Develop and execute a business plan for your territory that is approved and supported by the
executive management team.
Management of demonstration units in the territory.
Participate in conferences and trade shows while projecting a positive image of the company to
the customers and to the medical community.
Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry experts in your territory on behalf of Lumibird
Medical and managing equipment on loan to KOLs.
Provide onsite product presentations at trade shows or customer facility.
Ensure product installation forms are completed and on file for all territory sales.
Assist in the execution of Company sales strategy to meet group goals for prospecting (field,
web, and telephone skills), qualifying, and sales bookings on a quarterly basis by working with
specific customers and reps as assigned by management.
Communicate promptly and effectively with customers/prospects/reps in person, telephone,
remote audio-visual, and email formats.
Provide management with accurate forecasts broken down by direct sales and IDR sales for
assigned territory.
Provide first responder customer service.
Provide training and support to IDRs.
Qualify and validate the needs of the IDRs and their customers.
Create accurate and correct quotes using Sales Force.
Validate all leads for your territory in a timely basis and convert to opportunities, contacts or accounts as needed. There should be no uncontacted leads past 2 days.
Maintain the data accuracy for Sales Force. Not limited to but including updating and
maintaining product information in opportunities; ensuring information listed for contacts and accounts is correct, complete and valid; following up on open month-to-date quotes and year-to-date quotes for closing opportunities and updating the status in Sales Force.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Successful completion of background check to meet company requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or business-related discipline or transcripts demonstrating core competence in a technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, at least 3 of which are in the ophthalmic industry.
Computer literacy including presentation, business analysis, email and CRM experience.
Ability to understand and execute complex technical medical applications and
research/augment skill set as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
Travel requirement minimum 50%, including international travel, with a focus on habits to
maximize customer contact during travel.
Must be capable of working in front of a computer for long periods of time.
The candidate must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
