Attention Protein Equipment Sales!
We are working on a new Regional Sales Manager for the West coast covering most of California and half of Nevada. This role is with a growing and well-established OEM in food processing and packaging machinery.
They have a backfill with a lucrative territory that consistently hits over 3 mil in sales and with the size of the territory affords someone pretty good work-life balance. The territory has already exceeded the quota and has no one in it other than someone who has been helping out in another territory.
The focus is mainly in Red Meat Protein so the best candidate would come from selling process or packaging machinery in the meat space. This role would not be ideal for anyone in consumables.
This company's sales team has grown 200% in the last decade showing that a great product, culture and company make a huge difference. They also have had 1 steady leader for 10 years creating stability for the team.
They know their core competencies and stay in them versus trying to be everything to everyone.

- Strong sales background in food process or packaging machinery (protein preferred)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Ability to travel through territory with customers 50-60% of the time.
- Ability to manage sales cycle of multiple projects at a time (avg cycle is 200 days for one sale)
- Excellent Business development skills and can show recent successes in opening new accounts
- Live within territory of CA (from Bay area down and Nevada (Vegas side)
