We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the Western region (CA, WA, OR, WY, NV, CO, ID, MT, UT, HI, and AK). The ideal candidate thrives on building and maintaining relationships with agents, specifiers, and distributors, driving sales in the Commercial/Industrial, Roadway, DOT, and Automotive sectors. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in sales strategy, forecasting, and customer training, while actively engaging in RFPs and market development efforts. As a key business asset, this role offers high visibility and impact within one of our most critical sales channels.

What You'll Do:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, specifiers, distributors, and key customers to drive sales across the Commercial/Industrial, Roadway, DOT, and Automotive sectors in the Western region.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting, territory planning, and RFP engagement, to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Expand product specifications and sales by delivering impactful training, engaging stakeholders, and leveraging internal resources.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize sales initiatives, improve account management, and support vertical sales channels.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Manage territory outreach and engagement, implementing structured contact management and contributing to annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.


What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in key account sales, preferably within the lighting industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LED lighting solutions and a deep understanding of the broader lighting industry landscape.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies, basic market research techniques, product demonstrations, and sales methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively from the manufacturing floor to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, follow-up skills, and a customer-first approach.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This is a remote position located within the Western region and based in the contiguous US (CA, WA, OR, WY, NV, CO, ID, MT, UT).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, within the Western region; proximity to a central airport is essential.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout customer sites, trade shows, and company facilities.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds for materials, samples, or trade show setup.
  • Prolonged use of a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools for communication and reporting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
