LG Electronics, Air Solutions division, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM). The RSM is key to the team's growth and the candidate must possess the ability to grow the business annually by utilizing industry skills and leveraging relationships with wholesale distributors and contractors.

The RSM will work with Channel partners on strategic selling to meet and exceed sales targets. Uncover existing and future project and Contractor opportunities and influence key decision makers throughout market.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsibility for the sales management of our residential, light commercial product lines; this includes single and multi-zone ductless and ducted product lines
  • Develop project opportunity pipelines with distribution partners and contractors, track opportunities and follow-up
  • Access existing leads pipeline to develop new opportunities and customer base
  • Forecast sales, projects, and inventory with distributors; accurately forecast month-to-month +3 revenue and factory inventory internally
  • Develop and execute joint business plan with distributors to grow the applicable product lines
  • Have clear plan and path for sell-out activities and track accordingly
  • Become a product expert to effectively select, specify and sell project work
  • Travel as required to the coverage regions
  • Train distributor staff and contractors in selection, applications and selling the product
  • Coach, develop, motivate, and support external sales teams with ability to influence and drive growth and engagement
  • Strong ability to influence external organizations from bottom up, and top down
  • Work with appropriate Channel partners to ensure LG products, market goals and value proposition and are supported effectively with consistency and alignment
  • Have understanding of competitive landscape including traditional space and government programs and applications
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated, and work well under pressure
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, multitask, and build internal and external relationships
  • Independent, self-starter that is driven to develop new business while growing our existing portfolio


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Minimum 5 years' industry experience in a sales role
  • Residential/Commercial Air Conditioning sales background is required
  • B2B sales experience, technical understanding of HVAC product and customer base
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience presenting to senior levels within the organization, distributor management, engineers, developers and contractors
