Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the sales and support of machine tools in the Midwest region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin). The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing a team of sales and support professionals, as well as developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for the Midwest region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri), including target market identification, lead generation and proposal development
Oversee and manage a team of sales and support professionals, including setting goals, providing coaching and feed back and conducting performance evaluations
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the region
Monitor market trends and competitive activity, and adjust sales and marketing strategies as needed
Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve sales targets and profitability goals
Collaborate with other teams (e.g. product management, technical support) to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise
Represent the company at trade shows and other industry events in the Midwest region
(Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri)
Travel
Willingness to travel is a must
Must maintain Valid Driver's License
Occasional overnights as needed
Physical Requirement
Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computer
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, business)
5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing of machine tools or related products
Demonstrated track record of successful sales and business development in the Midwest region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel frequently within the Midwest region ((Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri)
