Position Overview: We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Services_AME team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role involves managing sales policies, analyzing market trends, negotiating major project tenders, and overseeing regional operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage application of sales policies in the field.
- Analyze market trends and develop long-range plans.
- Negotiate major project tenders within authority limits.
- Oversee regional organization and policies to achieve objectives.
- Establish and manage annual sales and expense budgets.
- Develop and revise company sales policies.
- Select and price pumps for tenders.
- Review new product information and product manuals.
- Support and participate in LEAN, EHS, and Quality Management Systems.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Manage team members, including application specialists, sales representatives, and administrative staff.
- Interview, hire, train, appraise, reward, and discipline employees.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in team environment establishment.
- Knowledge of pump and rotating equipment with 5+ years in the pump industry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
