Essentra is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in Houston to focus on our seals products. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing revenue within an assigned region. The RSM will consistently conduct meaningful appointments within their region to understand a customer's business and how to offer relevant products or solutions that deliver improved results for the end customer. The RSM will utilize their understanding of the market, to ensure market share growth through cross-selling and other sales techniques. This position is a fast paced, outside sales, customer focused role where success is rewarded.

Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain productive business/professional relationships to drive planned growth.
Understands account base within assigned territory and draft plan to engage available accounts through appropriate sales channels.
Cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and drive performance to plan.
Work along-side Inside Sales and Commercial Director to win new business.
Understand how Essentra's products are sourced, leveraging direct contacts to drive sales growth.
Analyse and document competitive situations to maintain existing business and drive growth to plan.
Engage in clear communication, teamwork and collaboration both internally and externally
Continually engage with internal and external partners to improve product knowledge and enhance cross-selling activities.
Report monthly on performance to KPI's.
Provide "Hassle-Free Customer Service" to our internal and external customers in line with the company ethics and values.
Perform related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or 3-5 years equivalent work experience.
Experience with MRO and/or Logistics sales preferred.
Must possess a clear business sense and be able to articulate our strategic advantage.
Self-starter with the ability to develop/implement strategies in line with the company's business vision.
Ability to form and develop key business relationships within your customer base.
Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills.
A proven track record of success in exceeding growth objectives.

Willing to travel 50% or more, with most travel being overnight trips.
