Nova Biomedical is hiring a Regional Support Manager (New England) who will be responsible for managing our Field Support Team in the new England. The key objectives of this role are to grow, develop, and lead a team comprised of Field Support Specialists and Glucose Training Specialists. This team is responsible for training clinicians and supporting hospital critical care blood gas analyzers and biotechnology chemistry analyzers. The Regional Support Manager will be responsible for installation, training, emergency service and preventive maintenance of Nova Biomedical diagnostic instrumentation in both the clinical and biotechnology market share.

Responsibilities include:
  • Territory Field Service Work and Inventory Management
  • Regional Management of direct Field Service Reports
  • Regional Management of direct Glucose Training Specialists
  • Regional Inventory Management and Control
  • Regional Expense Control and Revenue Generation
  • Regional Field service and Training Metric Performance
  • Regional Performance Reviews
  • Regional Customer Visits to Problem Accounts and to StatStrip/StatStrip Implementations
  • Regional Problem Account Performance Improvement Plans
  • Regional Onsite Technical Consultant for other FSS's
  • Weekend Manager On-call Rotation
  • Regional Pay Plan, Hiring, Revenue and Expense Control Budgets

Reporting Relationships

Associate, Field, Senior Field, Regional and Senior Regional Support Specialist report directly to the RSM as well as the regional GTS

Interaction
The RSM is required to interact daily with dispatch and weekly with team members and management. They are also required to attend weekly Customer Asset Management Program (CAMP) calls.

Qualifications
  • Clinical lab knowledge and/or experience is ideal for this position.
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate field service personnel.
  • A Medical Technologist, Nursing, or Respiratory Therapy or Electronics background preferred.
  • Requires above average communication, teaching and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires a person who will travel within or outside the assigned territory and region.
  • Requires a driver's license in home state and a good driving record; and a nationally accepted credit card with an acceptable credit limit for use during job responsibilities.
  • The ability to travel by car or airplane for prolonged periods
  • The ability to work in a standing or sitting position for prolonged periods
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
