Your New Job

The Position:

As RVP of Construction, you will be the key leader of our regional construction operations. This includes, but not limited to, meeting our budgeted revenue and margin targets in a safe and quality manner. You will work closely with our SVP of Field Operations and the other RVPs to drive consistent and compliant process, standards, & Operations across all of our regions. This also requires working closely with our Boulder Corporate office and in region leadership and teams to ensure the 1 Congruex culture and goals are operating harmoniously and profitably.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Manage all construction field operations across a defined region
  • Currently targeting $200M-$300M of annualized work per region across ~10 markets in multiple states
  • Manage 5-10 market managers within a region who have 200-400 field members reporting to them within the markets
  • Ensure all work is done in a safe and quality manner
  • Key Ops leader that drives the 1 Congruex culture and operating environment across the region
  • Primary owner of Margin achievement, preservation, optimization, & growth across the region
  • Drive optimal resource (direct labor, subs, equipment) utilization across the region that enables margin optimization & to meet customer deliverables
  • Ensure construction service deliverables are performed within the terms & conditions of the contract, industry standards, permit requirements, & to the satisfaction of the Customer.
  • Responsible for all KPIs & reporting across the region
  • Key leader / liaison that is fully aligned with Congruex C'Level Management, goals, reporting, & initiatives, and the Regional performance supporting such
  • Key member of Construction Services Leadership team that drives overall standards and culture for the Construction Services & field teams
  • As the service fulfillment lead for construction ops, requires key alignment & interactions with PMO, Engineering, Service Delivery, Bus Ops leaders & stakeholders to ensure the 1 Congruex order to cash process is working and improving optimally


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the construction/telecom industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing field operations, including superintendents and craft workers.
  • Proven track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery and process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance structures, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing metrics and KPIs for project performance tracking.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team mentorship and development.
  • Proficiency in change, issue, risk, and quality management processes, along with ERP and project management tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, address operational challenges, and identify growth opportunities.
