Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a student in a school setting. The RN will play a crucial role in promoting, maintaining, and improving the health and safety of the student while assisting with daily activities and medical needs.

Location: Blauvelt, NY
Hours: Day shift, Monday - Friday, Full-time
Pay Rate: Up to $47 per hour + benefits (Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, flexible scheduling options.)
Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications as needed.
• Provide emergency first aid when necessary.
• Communicate with relevant parties about medication administration and share important health information.
• Inform staff about any medical conditions, including allergies and other health concerns.
• Assist with daily activities and routines as required.

Requirements:

• New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Associate degree in nursing (required).
• Experience working with special education children preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
