Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Case Manager
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), with a 4x10 Hour option available upon request
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: WA RN or Compact RN
Certifications: BLS required; CCM or ACM preferred
Must-Have:
- Inpatient Acute Care experience
- Ability to float between like units
Job Description:
- Provide care management and utilization review across various units including ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, and Adult Medical.
- Utilize EPIC for charting.
- Work every other weekend as required.
- Manage average daily census of 30 patients.
- Familiarity with Milliman Guidelines or InterQual Criteria is beneficial.
- Complete modules, with an average of 16 hours of non-billable time.
- Successfully complete 40 hours of orientation.
[The job entails mandatory floating between different similar units within the healthcare facility to address the varying needs of the establishment. This position does not require the candidate to be on-call and first-time applicants are accepted. Any requested time off must be submitted during application, and applicants must commit to working at least 3 out of the 5 major holidays. Candidates are responsible for having a WA RN or Compact License at the time of submission.]
