Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Apply after the first call off per pay period
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; STEMI trained with Interventional Radiology experience
License: FL license or a compact license required at time of submission
Certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS preferred
Must-Have:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab work setting experience
- Cardiac Cath and EP procedure experience
- Medication, IV Therapy, EKGs, ACT, Cardioversion
- Circulate, CO2 Monitoring, Infection prevention
- Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions, Sheath Removal, and Monitoring skills
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons)
Job Description:
- Participate in STEMI 500 hours training as per required guidelines
- Handle an average daily census of 15-20 patients
- Be available for on-call duty 11 days a month, including every third weekend
- Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs, including Cath and IR units
- Open to discussing block scheduling during the interview process
- Candidates may need to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals
- Complete necessary compliance documentation 10 days before the start
- Complete modules pre-start and annually, with a maximum of 8 hours billable time for RNs
- Pass/Fail EKG exam with up to 3 attempts available
Note: Non-smokers preferred as this is a smoke-free environment. Return staff policy applies. Candidates interested should ensure familiarity with Cerner charting systems. Compliance documents are due two Fridays before the Monday start.
