Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg
Location: Greenville, SC 29605
Pay Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Nights | 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Department: Medical-Surgical (General Surgery)
Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) General Surgery unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, proficiency in EPIC documentation, and the ability to adapt and float as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including preoperative and postoperative assessments, wound care, and pain management.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care based on patient needs and surgical procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and report significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Utilize EPIC software for documentation, care coordination, and patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, discharge plans, and home care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control measures, and emergency response protocols.
• Float to other units based on staffing needs, within competency scope.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a multistate compact license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using EPIC software.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in General Surgery or Med-Surg nursing preferred.
• Ability to adapt and float to other units as required.
