Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Endoscopy Prep/Recovery
Job Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: 2 years of Telemetry and travel experience required
License: Compact or State License required at time of submission
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- 75 Mile Local Radius for local candidates
- References Required
- Response time for on-call is 1 hour.
Job Description:
- Work in the Endoscopy Prep/Recovery unit, assisting with both patient intake and recovery.
- Schedule consists of ten-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with late call approximately once per week.
- May float between different affiliated units as needed.
- Follow the PACU Call Policy with specific call hours and responsibilities. Call hours during weekdays will be 8PM-6AM, and weekends divided into two shifts: 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM.
- Willingness to work during call shifts, anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per six-week schedule period.
- Capable of floating to main PACU for patient recovery post 8PM.
- Completion of modules required during orientation and annually, averaging 6.5 hours.
- Return staff policy mandates absence of 90 days to return as a traveler.
- Must be eligible for rehire, with eligibility verification conducted weekly.
- Completion of an 8-hour orientation required.
