Job Title: Pre/Post Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: PreOperative
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:00 - 16:30 or 08:30 - 19:00)
Experience: PACU/recovery experience required; preference for ambulatory setting experience.
License: Must have valid nursing license.
Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified through American Heart Association.
Must-Have: Basic Arrhythmia experience and pass Telemetry test (not applicable for clinic positions).
Description:
Join a top-ranked hospital as a Pre/Post Registered Nurse.
Provide care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical, GI, and Bronchoscopy procedures.
Establish goals for discharge or continuing care for patients, families, and other care providers.
Travelers' permanent address must be at least 50 miles away from the assigned work site.
Travelers may have shifts scheduled in multiple units based on staffing needs.
Floating may be required if the primary unit no longer has a need.
Complete a Telemetry test prior to starting (not applicable for clinic roles).
Orientation is typically about one week.
Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine are available.
