Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pre-Op

Job Specialty: Pre-Operative Nursing

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty

License: Registered Nurse License

Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have:
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Description:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and collect patient information
- Ensure all necessary pre-operative tests and paperwork are completed
- Educate patients and their families about the surgical process and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and a positive surgical outcome
- Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain medical records
- Provide compassionate and professional nursing care
