Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Job Duration: 14 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a level 1 trauma center CVOR

License: Compact or Kentucky State License required at submission

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Must-Have:

- Experience with neuro, ortho, and general cases
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required; only medical or religious exemptions are allowed.

Job Description:

- Float to the main OR as needed
- Provide excellent care in a fast-paced environment
- Handle various case types such as neuro, ortho, and general surgeries
- Meet the response time for on-call duties within 1 hour
- Participate in weekend call shifts as divided into two shifts: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM
- Transfer and recover patients in collaboration with the main PACU as needed
- Complete mandatory modules during orientation and annually, with an average of 6.5 hours for completion
- Note any previous employment to check rehire eligibility and comply with facility policies.
