Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed
Experience: 2 years of recent Medicare Home Health and post-op surgical experience (e.g., ortho and general)
License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have:
- Fluent experience in adult home health
- Ability to handle Pleurx drains
- 2 references from authority figures (e.g., Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) from the last year
Job Description:
- Work Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation.
- Required to work 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
- On-call duties required.
- May need to float between multiple locations.
- Adhere to vaccination requirements, with medical or religious exemptions as applicable.
- Any solid color scrubs are acceptable.
- Successfully complete 16 hours of orientation.
- Finalize Requested Time Off (RTO) during the interview process; adjustments will not be accepted later.
This position welcomes first-time travelers and accepts local candidates at the travel rate. Candidates must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position before applying. Ensure to have a valid license and required references at the time of submission.
