Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed
Experience: 2 years
License: Florida State or compact license required
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have:
- Recent Medicare Home Health experience
- Post-op surgical home health experience (orthopedic & general)
- 2 references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Job Description:
- Monday-Friday with weekend rotation; five weekend shifts every six weeks
- Required to float to all assigned hospitals
- First-time travelers accepted
- Able to handle 27-30 cases a day
- On-call duties required
- Work setting involves adult home health, including management of Pleurx drains
- Pending license accepted from Florida State or compact license
- Local candidates accepted at travel rate
- Candidates must have background approval prior to the offer
- Scrubs in any solid color allowed
- Finalized RTO must be included with submission; adjustments not accepted post-interview
- Orientation requires 16 non-billable hours
