Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience required
License: Pending license accepted
Certifications: BCLS Required
Must-Have: COVID vaccination primary series and one booster
Job Description:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in home health settings.
- Visit up to 6 patients per day, adhering to a 1:1 ratio.
- Professional attire required; scrubs of any color are acceptable.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
- Complete a standard of 30 productivity points daily.
- Use reliable personal transportation for patient visits, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard.
- Complete a 40-hour orientation (non-billable).
- Attend to hospice care needs within a 50+ mile occasional maximum travel radius.
- Participate in modules pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent.
- Expected to have supervisory references covering a minimum of 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- First-timers are accepted and encouraged to apply.
- Warm and engaging disposition with the ability to work independently.
- Facility or agency will provide necessary communication devices, or reimburse work-related phone expenses.
