We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients and staff. The Registered Nurse Manager ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance & Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her units. Nurse manager will function as the primary auditor for all new admissions and will work with CNO and nursing staff to ensure completion, timeliness and accuracy of nursing charting.

  • Actively engage in the health care team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
  • Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice
  • Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.
  • Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SSBH.
  • Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
  • Lead auditing and performance improvement measures as related to auditing and charting.
  • Monitor medical records for appropriate documentation of care and effectiveness and assure completion of Night Audit deficiencies.
  • Educate staff on standards of documentation.
  • Responsible for unit compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards, and patient rights standards.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness of the unit quality improvement program. Collaborate with case management to ensure patients receive timely quality care.
  • Assist with recruitment and interviewing potential staff.


Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:

  • Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required and able to produce a valid Washington State RN license. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least three years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Showcase your flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations.

Compensation:
