Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Acute Neuro Unit - Medical Surgical

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 0700-1930

Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty

License: Must have an active RN license

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have: Strong experience in neurology and neurosurgery

Job Description:

- Provide care for patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgery.
- Manage patients undergoing neurosurgery, neurology, ear, nose, and throat surgery, and general surgery.
- Offer support to ambulatory patients who can provide some of their own care.
- Deliver comprehensive care for bedridden patients requiring total assistance.
- Conduct continuous assessments and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure all care is delivered in adherence to facility standards and procedures.
