We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.
40 hours per week, 7am-5:30pm shift available.

Responsibilities
We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.
40 hours per week, 7am-5:30pm shift available.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
- Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
- Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures.
- Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon.
- Responding to sudden changes in patients' health and managing occasional emergencies.
- Keeping good records and maintaining patients' charts.
- Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations.
- Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op.
- Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material.
- Two years of experience in perioperative services required.
- Orthopedic and neurosurgery experience is preferred.
