Registered Nurse - PACU
Waldorf/Prince Frederick MD
Pay From: $40 Per hour
MUST:
1+year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience working in an ambulatory setting
Strong documentation skills
Recovering patients from procedures
Experience handling QA and reviewing logs
Updating patient medical records and ensuring accuracy of
Obtaining vitals
Rooming patients
Overseeing medical assistants
Providing patient education
Comfortable making post op calls and documenting and updating information in patient's charts
ACLS certified or willing to obtain
Duties:
The duties of the Post Op/PACU Nurse include but are not limited to the following:
Make post operative calls to patients
Handle QA of charts and logs for accuracy and completeness
Document and update patient information in EMR
Room patients
Recover patients from procedures
Check vitals
Provide clinical support as needed to providers and office
Maintain and order supplies
Train on assisting with procedures
