Registered Nurse sought for BD Monroe I, LLC in Monroe,Washington. The proposed duties are as follows: Makes frequentrounds to note resident/patient conditions and to ensure nursing personnel isperforming their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursingstandards. Gives/receives the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shiftduty hours. Ensures assigned work area (i.e. nurse station, med. Cart,medication room, etc.), resident/patient care rooms and treatment areas aremaintained in a clean and sanitary manner. Monitors supplies and orders asneeded. Responsible for resident/patient care during his/her respective shift.Reviews care plans, at least daily, to ensure appropriate care. Notifies theDirector of Nursing/Residence Care Manager/patient changes in condition.Receives and transcribes physician's orders to resident's/patient's charts,Kardex/Care Plan A, Medication Administration Record, treatment/care plans asrequired. Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments asordered by the physician. Charts nurses notes in an informative and descriptivemanner that reflects the care provided as well as the resident's/patient'sresponse to the care. Documents all pertinent data as required by Medicare,Medicaid, and company standards and policies. Completes the required forms uponadmission, transfer, and/or discharge. Informs physician of resident/patientchange of condition. Counts all controlled drugs with another nurse at shiftchange and notifies the Director of Nursing / Resident Care Manager of all drugand narcotic discrepancies noted on your shift. Keeps medication room andmedication cart locked according to regulations. Responsible for security ofkeys. Keeps medication room and medication cart clean and orderly. Follows andadheres to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for theprivacy and security of protected health information. Uses and/or disclosesonly a minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to completeassigned tasks. Administrative tasks as assigned.

Musthave Associate's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent). Must demonstrate proof ofpassage of NCLEX-RN Examination. Must possess or be eligible for WashingtonState Registered Nurse License prior to hire as a Registered Nurse. Must possessproof of legal authority to work in the United States. 40 hrs/week; $45/hour.
