Hourly Pay Range: $31.91 $45.94 (dependent on experience)

This is an in-home hospice nursing role. The RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families, focusing on comfort and quality of life in their homes. The nurse will work independently and collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive physical, psychological, and social assessments upon admission
- Develop individualized care plans and update regularly based on patient needs
- Deliver high-quality hospice care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations
- Offer emotional, spiritual, and educational support to patients and their families
- Monitor patient symptoms and status changes; implement appropriate interventions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Provide medication management, wound care, and symptom relief as needed
- Document all assessments, interventions, and communications promptly and accurately
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on condition management and end-of-life processes
- Serve as a leader and mentor to hospice aides and support staff
Ideal Candidate:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Michigan
- Previous hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
- Compassionate communicator with patients and families
- Comfortable driving and working in a home care setting
- Flexible, reliable, and able to handle emotional demands of hospice care
