JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Supervisor - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

RN SUP - CICU

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Supervisor candidates for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is 27 bed cardiac and medical critical care unit .
• We specialize in pre and post-operative cardiac, cardiomyopathy patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, as well as heart failure and post-MI cardiology patient, IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, Pacemakers, Severe Sepsis, and Respiratory Failure.
• Under the direction of the nurse manager, Director, or Executive Director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel in order to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates the department activities ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service.
• Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Registered Nurse Supervisor candidates for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
• 2 years of recent clinical experience in specialty area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Nursing
• Leadership experience.

Pay Rate: $141,294-223,100/year
