Are you passionate about optimizing processes and supporting operational efficiency? We're looking for a Regulatory Enablement Specialist to join our Regulatory, Contracts, and Compliance Team! The Regulatory Enablement Specialist will support the regulatory department's success by enhancing efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to achieve the organizations strategic objectives.
In this role, you will develop and refine processes and manage documentation, lead process improvements, and act as a liaison across teams to maintain consistent regulatory practices. You'll be responsible for handling confidential and sensitive regulatory information with the highest level of integrity and discretion. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will help standardize, implement, and audit regulatory, contract, and training documentation-driving performance improvement and process excellence.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $71,100 - $99,450, and for Eastern Washington varies between $63,444 - $88,741. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

- Collaborate with RCC leadership to identify, build, and implement process and system improvements using technology for functions such as intake systems, project tracking, and workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date, accessible process documentation and content for RCC processes, training materials, and guidance while driving optimization efforts.
- Build and maintain systems for document storage, version control, and access control, while managing a department style guide and language library.
- Implement and conduct quality control for regulatory materials, including contracts, templates, notices, and determination letters, while collaborating with team leadership to track performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and legislative updates for dental and ancillary products, presenting changes and leading process adjustments across RCC Teams.
- Identify compliance risks and collaborate cross-functionally to address issues.
- Coordinate and prepare training materials for onboarding, continuous learning, and process change, including establishing and delivering assignments, monitoring progress, and collaborating with RCC leadership.
- Support the Contract Language Workgroup by preparing and reviewing Standard Product Templates, verifying citations, and ensuring document alignment.
- Oversee and enhance internal communication channels, including SharePoint sites, dashboards, newsletters, and correspondence, to ensure seamless and effective information flow.
- Assist in audits and document request, preparing documentation and corrective action plans as needed.
Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- 4+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably healthcare, insurance or similar field.
- Strong project management skills, including cross-functional coordination and delivering results in ambiguous environments. Expertise in document control processes, including intake, quality control, storage, versioning, and access.
- Strategic approach for identifying inefficiencies, implementing operational improvements, and using new technologies to enhance team efficiency.
- Experience creating and delivering internal policy updates and training programs.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize activities and responsibilities, anticipate next steps and meet target dates.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable guidance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with Dental on Demand and Salesforce preferred.
