Relationship Manager IV
Responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives that will increase bank
profitability by cultivating new business relationships, retention and expansion of existing portfolio
management, qualitative input in the underwriting process and overall credit quality of the portfolio
while maintaining high quality customer service. Manages relationships for customers focusing on technology based companies across the U.S.

Position Responsibilities:

Sales Production
  • Leads and develops relationship management activities including revenue generation through acquisition and expansion of new and existing clients, including the most complex accounts. Credit approval authority of $300K.
  • Leads strategic planning activities for developing business plans to meet goals and develops strategies for maintaining and further penetrating existing accounts through a thorough analysis of risks, opportunities and impacts to the bank.
  • Negotiates proper loan structures, analyzes and structures credit facilities for new and existing credits within assigned limits;.
  • Makes both credit and pricing recommendations for credits above assigned authority and decisions for credits within assigned authority.
  • Leads, directs, and coordinates key extended team members in the analysis and execution in the effective delivery of products and services to clients and prospects.
  • Coordinates with assigned Portfolio Manager who conducts periodic reviews and renewals of existing loan arrangements.
  • Coordinates with the appropriate credit team, providing qualitative input in the underwriting process for new to new and new to existing opportunities.

Risk Management
  • Prepares for and presents at loan committees as applicable.
  • Adheres to Risk Management policies and guidelines, i.e. regulatory compliance, portfolio and credit quality, and portfolio management.
  • Provides support to the Portfolio Manager as necessary in monitoring existing loans to ensure compliance with terms of loan agreement and take corrective action on variances.
  • Shares responsibility with the Portfolio Manager for credit quality of the portfolio.

Additional Duties:
  • Promotes public bank image by being involved in meaningful community and business development activities, as appropriate.
  • Provides junior Relationship Managers with functional guidance and may be asked to take leadership roles on team initiatives and/ or mentoring roles with junior team members.
