As a Reliability Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and process safety for our Geismar, Louisiana specialty chemicals manufacturing facility. With strong leadership abilities, a proven track record in mechanical integrity, maintenance, and reliability engineering, and a commitment to continuous learning, you will manage and optimize the reliability program, work with cross-functional teams to reduce process safety incidents and improve reliability. This is a key position on the leadership team of a critical manufacturing location with tremendous opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the business.
You will report directly to our Geismar Plant Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, Louisiana location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the Reliability Engineering and Inspection team to ensure the safety and reliability of the production facility
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reliability goals with overall business objectives
Develop and implement continuous improvement of site programs for PSM, mechanical integrity, RBI, production loss accounting, bad actors, FMEA, rotating equipment management, RCFA
Participate in corporate MI and Maintenance and Reliability Networks to share best practices and learn from incidents
Analyze product failure data, identifying root causes and trends to implement corrective actions and improve product reliability.
Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the reliability engineering team and other stakeholders
Manage and optimize the reliability engineering and inspection budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
6+ years of experience in mechanical integrity, reliability engineering, or maintenance roles in a chemicals or refining manufacturing facility
Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, tools, and techniques, including rotating equipment management programs, FMEA, RCFA, uptime improvement
Strong knowledge of mechanical integrity best practices in PSM facilities, including experience with fixed equipment inspection and NDE
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Experience with software such as SAP, GE Meridium, RoundsPro, PowerBI
