Position Overview
Based near Los Anelges, CA we're a growing and profitable B2B SaaS start-up in the contract management sector. We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture and management, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement database systems based on application requirements.
• Optimize database performance through indexing and query optimization.
• Ensure data security and integrity through proper access controls and backups.
• Work with development teams to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Create and maintain documentation for database structures and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Python and Django frameworks.
• Familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
• Proficient in using version control systems like GitHub.
