Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and scalability of our applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, primarily AWS, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Monitor application performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Ensure security and compliance of the infrastructure and applications.
- Optimize cost and resource usage across cloud services.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the development process and advocate for best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement and maintain logging and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
- Proficient in using CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Understanding of logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages, including Python and Bash.
- Experience with version control systems, especially GIT.
- Familiarity with database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of network concepts and web application development.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
