Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Requirements Manager to work in Norfolk, VA. The candidate must have an active secret clearance.

  • Understand the software development life cycle process
  • Coordinate with the government customer to determine process improvements for the Navy Program Office.
  • Plans, analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of Navy IT Systems
  • Works with stakeholders to identify system changes, perform impact analysis and prioritize requests for change.
  • Utilizes advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of organizational programs.
  • Establishes study methods and techniques and analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of software development processes.
  • Participates in meetings and projects with stakeholders, staff, and project managers to establish functional requirements and process improvement opportunities.
  • Responds to highly complex and time sensitive issues.
  • Reviews functional requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross initiative dependencies and ensured process consistency and repeatability across the government program offices.
  • Provides guidance or technical supervision to less experienced staff performing process engineering functions.


Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 yrs of experience or HS Diploma and 13 yrs of experience.
  • Understanding with naval safety and requirements gathering.


Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
