You Are:

You are a passionate and innovative research engineer with a strong background in computational science and AI technologies. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside domain experts, machine learning researchers, and engineers. Your ability to conduct exploratory analysis, plan and execute impactful research projects, and present your findings clearly sets you apart. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop and implement high-performance AI models for chip design, focusing on AI modeling and training tasks.
  • Architect and optimize algorithms for parallel training and inference using JAX.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to inform research directions and experimentation.
  • Plan, scope, and execute projects aimed at solving impactful research problems in chip design.
  • Collaborate with internal and external researchers to drive innovation and expand the capabilities of our AI framework.
  • Present research findings and developments clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the creation of reusable libraries and tools to amplify research impact.
  • Publish research findings and participate in open-source initiatives to share knowledge with the wider community.

What You'll Need:
  • PhD in Computational Science and Engineering, Computational Mathematics, Computational Physics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in using JAX for building high-performance parallel training and inference software.
  • Strong quantitative skills in mathematics and statistics.
  • Proven track record of successful research projects at the intersection of AI and physical sciences.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in common scripting languages and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
