The candidate should have experience in cryospheric science, snow remote sensing and ground-based observation networks and be comfortable using machine learning approaches to analyze results. The individual will be expected to present results in peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations. Experience in organizing meetings, project coordination, and writing and reviewing technical reports is also expected.

Qualifications

Experience with snow remote sensing retrievals and programming with Fortran, python and/or similar languages is required. Familiarity with spatial analysis and HPC environments is also highly desired.
