Resident Lecturer

Overview

Classroom instructor in Patho/physiology.

Responsibilities

• Classroom instructor of UME Pathology courses for first and second-year medical students.
• Resident Lecturer will be a WMC Pathology resident and will provide at least 4 Problem-Solving Exercises (small groups) per semester.
• Lecture quantity may change depending on the new curriculum and it's planning according to each module director.
• The resident lecturer could also be part of large groups if needed.
• The resident lecturer will teach topics like respiratory pathology, GU/GYN pathology, renal pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, hepatobiliary pathology, and neuropathology, additionally, the resident lecturer will conduct Gross specimen reviews, depending on their expertise.

Qualifications

Education requirement:

M.D and Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathologist

Technical/computer skills: Microsoft office suite with emphasis on PowerPoint/Turning Point presentations. Working knowledge of zoom conferencing.

Prior experience: Teaching experience with graduate/medical students
