JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate all service delivery at Genesis Group Homes. These functions include; coordinating with the Interdisciplinary Team, licensing, conducting internal audits, assuring service satisfaction, managing the organization's procedures for vulnerability and mandated reporting; and managing current and past individual records. Additionally responsible for overall program services, including: leadership, staff training & development, and maintaining compliance records. This position provides strategic direction to the programs and supervises the assigned Services Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the service delivery department.
  • Evaluates current services and assesses the need to extend, modify, or end services for individuals served.
  • Implements and monitors the individual activity budget.
  • Facilitates the implementation of professional development and training for service delivery staff.
  • Responsible for overall programming including leadership, staff training & development, finances & maintaining compliance records.
  • Responsible for program data, program evaluation and in coordination with the CCO, evaluates program outcomes and engages in quality improvement projects.
  • Reviews and ensures the completion of SMA, IAPP, PAPP, SPA, PAPP, site safety checklist, medication reviews, GERs/incident reports, serious incident reports, emergency use of manual restraint forms, behavior intervention reporting form, and similar operational reporting.
  • Completes & submits rate management worksheets & companion documents to the case managers. Follows up on outstanding service agreements.
  • Provides programming leadership to direct reports, particularly during crises to affect an appropriate and therapeutic solution.
  • Conducts internal reviews in accordance with maltreatment policies & coordinates with outside agencies during external investigations.
  • Visits each site at least once per month to stay informed of operations and provide support and guidance.
  • Audits timecards and schedules and ensures EVV is adhered to.
  • Ensures licensing requirements are adhered to.
  • Promotes diversity and cultural inclusiveness at Genesis Group Homes.
  • Participates in group and team meetings, including Leadership Team meetings, as necessary.

Audits:
  • Implements internal auditing and reporting system.
  • Develops plans to remedy deficient program operations or quality, or to enhance these where it is already satisfactory.
  • Coordinates policy, procedure and record keeping systems related to internal audits.

Service Satisfaction:
  • Identifies internal and external service satisfaction problems and recommends solutions.
  • Investigates received complaints, makes recommendations, and resolves them and documents outcomes.

Vulnerable Adults:
  • Manages policy, procedure and recordkeeping systems related to vulnerable adult reporting and follow through.
  • Coordinates the organization's response to County, child protection, and DHS investigators.
  • Conducts internal investigations of reported incidents, completes and files corresponding paperwork, reports conclusions and makes recommendations.

Individuals Served Documentation:
  • Coordinates and manages the current and past individual records.
  • Assures the security and privacy of such records.
  • Directs all policy, procedure and record keeping systems related to individual records and storage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree and Experience Requirements:
  • (1) A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
  • (2) An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
  • (3) A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children; OR
  • (4) A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; AND Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a program that provides care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
  • Proven history of developing staff and managers.
  • Working knowledge and ability to execute 245D requirements and standards.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in human services, education, or health.
  • Four year's experience in senior management position.

This position will also be eligible for the company bonus and company vehicle program.
