Job Title: ECMO Specialist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience License: Valid State License required at submission. Single State License or Multi-State License (Compact) required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic charting experience preferred. Must have references from a supervisor within the past 2 years. Job Description: - Provide prolonged cardiac and respiratory support to patients whose heart and lungs are unable to provide an adequate amount of gas exchange or perfusion to sustain life.- Deliver ECMO support in NICU, PICU, and CICU for patients experiencing respiratory or heart failure.- Support patients as they recover or as a bridge to lung/heart transplant.- Work across all critical care units and potentially float to additional campus locations as needed.- Ensure compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements; no exemptions allowed.- Completion of an additional background check on the first day, which may impact employment.- Participate in a 16-hour orientation.
