As the Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be accountable for establishing and administering the quality policies of INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines Inc. to keep quality performance from our suppliers at expected levels. Lead SQE will maintain relationships with suppliers, resolving quality issues, approving new suppliers and components. They will lead effort to drive improvements and control cost of quality directly with the suppliers.

About the Role:

As ReUp Program Manager, you will lead initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency across remanufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop strategic plans, and implement solutions that drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cost-out projects across various departments from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, material substitutions, and design changes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to optimize processes and resources.
  • Monitor project progress, track savings, and report on performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cost-consciousness within the organization.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and finance to implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze data to track project performance and report on cost savings achieved.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential project challenges.
  • Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cost management and reduction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cost reduction, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in [specific industry or sector].
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
