Description:
Charleston ENT & Allergy, the largest privately-owned ENT practice in South Carolina, seeks an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle to oversee all aspects of business office operations, from billing and collections to medical coding and compliance. This critical role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will serve as the department head for a staff of 25-30 billers, coders and collections professionals. Job Duties:
- Effectively recruit, hire, coach, train and develop teams
- Evaluate, develop, and implement solutions for strategic growth
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize revenue collections
- Develop and maintain written operational policies and procedures to ensure consistent processes for operations
- Employee performance management
- Recommend and implement operational changes that will improve service, productivity, quality and/or financial performance of the organization
- Plan and oversee assigned projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Qualified candidates will have:
- A bachelor's degree or higher
- Progressively responsible experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle metrics tracking and reporting
- Experience managing remote teams
- Extensive experience in revenue cycle systems processes
