What you can expect to do here:
  • Develop construction document packages in Revit & CAD under the direction of the BIM Manager, Design Lead, and Project Managers;
  • Provide BIM production support, including project model setup, primary discipline project work, and deliverable setup;
  • Design mechanical building systems directly in Revit/CAD, adhering to company BIM/CAD standards;
  • Work with clash/coordination reports, assisting with model audits and overall health of the model;
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for design support, equipment, and component selection;
  • Ensure proper documentation of all works, products, and relevant activities;
  • Compile individual discipline models/design information and federate into multi-disciplinary model information;
  • Coordinate drafting with other disciplines;
  • Prepare presentation graphics and proposals;
  • Present models to clients.

What you'll bring to WSP:
  • 10+ years of CAD drafting experience, with a minimum of 5 years using Revit in a professional workplace;
  • Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo software;
  • Experience using Revit to create pipe drawings, valve drawings, and mechanical equipment in water and wastewater projects;
  • Experience in the construction industry on MEP projects with knowledge in process flow diagrams specific to water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants;
  • Metro Vancouver projects experience is an added advantage;
  • Certificate/degree from an accredited technical training school or community college of design and drafting;
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary projects related to water and wastewater market segments.

The salary range (in British Columbia): $71,500 - $98,300.

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
