Job Description:
Join our team as a Senior Signals Software Engineer and play a crucial role in advancing our RF and digital signal processing capabilities. With your deep technical expertise and hands-on experience, you'll develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software that drives our mission forward.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline in DSP from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience as a Senior Signals Software Engineer (SSWE) on projects focusing on Radio Frequency (RF), including experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools, and digital signal processing. Alternatively, four (4) years of additional SSWE or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in RF, DSP, MATLAB, C++, and Python.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software, including detectors, demodulators, and protocol processors.
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
  • Design and code new software, modify existing software to add new features and debug to correct defects.
  • Utilize appropriate software development methodologies and design techniques to meet system performance and functional standards.
  • Integrate existing software into new and modified systems and operating environments.
  • Lead software development teams, ensuring quality control and adherence to software development processes.
  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components and review software and system documentation.
