RF Systems Engineer, Senior

Job Summary:

TheAntenna Assembly group at MACOM Lowell location is looking to add a senior RF engineer to help develop, test, and integrate the next generation antenna RF frontend assembly.

Responsibilities:

The Principal RF Systems Engineer will be responsible for working with customers on system requirements flow down, develop design concepts, perform system performance analysis, work with fabricators to build and test hardware.Opportunities also exist to grow in the radar system design and analysis field. The candidate is required to work in a very dynamic and collaborative development environment to support internal and external customers across related product lines. Focus areas for these radar systems include:

  • Electromagnetic filed analysis
  • RF PCB design and performance characterization
  • Phased Array antenna Technology
  • Statistical and Numerical Analysis of Radar Performance Data
  • Integration and test of large assemblies
  • Model Based System Engineering Development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience with RF design, development, and analysis
  • Experience interfacing with customers and lead technical solutions to user requirements
  • Modeling and simulation of system designs to demonstrate performance
  • Prior experience with DoD RF system Design and Development Programs
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplined, technical team with the ability to develop, and empower
