As a RF Systems Engineer, you'll contribute to the development and deployment of our commercial 5G radio product. You'll work closely with our RF, hardware, and software teams to design, validate, and optimize RF subsystems. Salary Range
Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $100,000 and $125,000 plus stock options and benefits.

As our RF Systems Engineer, you will
RF System Validation & Characterization
- Characterize and validate RF systems for optimal performance in real-world 5G applications
- Perform system-level testing, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause analysis
- Support test campaigns and data collection across various operating conditions
Test Automation & Data Analysis
- Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline test procedures
- Analyze complex datasets to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Create detailed documentation and visualizations of test results
Hardware Development & Circuit Design
- Design and prototype circuits for RF subsystems within an open-RAN radio unit
- Assist in schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and bring-up of new designs
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Interface with firmware, systems, and production teams to support product development
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and design reviews
- Participate in lab work, including soldering, equipment setup, and hardware debugging
Qualities of a Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Solid understanding of RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Proficient in Python for scripting, data analysis, and test automation
- Familiarity with lab equipment: power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on lab environment
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn within a collaborative startup setting
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Altium Designer for PCB design
- Familiarity with DSP, communication theory, and/or 5G
